Had to go in the hospital. Came down with a terrible case of tonsillitis and my tonsils swelled up so much that I couldn't swallow so I got admitted for dehydration. It's a weird feeling to take a sip of something and it comes right back out all over the place because I couldn't swallow it. I'm on a liquid diet which sucks balls but I'm also on tons of steroids which are making me starving, so I'm eating a steak tonight goddamnit. I've also got all these terribly painful ulcers in my mouth so it really hurts to talk or swallow or anything. I don't know what caused all of this. My doctor said I probably just breathed it in, and I have been running a LOT lately trying to drop some weight for the cruise, and I run downtown, and the filthiest fucking people in the world go downtown for Mardi Gras. Anyway, I got released from the hospital and went home and all of the sudden I'm in some of the worst pain I've been in this whole time. My next dose of liquid lortab isn't for another hour or more so I just have to deal with it.
I wonder how expensive that bill is going to be. Motherfucker. That antibiotic alone was $65. I also haven't been able to work the past couple of days. I really don't want to work tomorrow. It hurts too bad. I need money though. I guess I'll just force myself to go.
