How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
i just came back from something awesome!!
one of my Deaf classmates _we actually have Deaf History & Deaf Women together_ was hosting a party for a group of Deaf Japanese tourists, who apparently she knows since she's also from Japan…anyway, it was totally awesome, great food, even a pumkin pie & a green tea cheesecake in honor of recent birthdays!!
& not only did i get to spend the whole night signing _which always feels so good!_ but i also got to spend a good deal of time observing JSL in action!! totally cool…
i feel so free.
not only that i've got so much more time now than ever before to attend events & get-togethers like this _i mean i'm going to lectures, dramas, art exhibitions, film events…_ but also to do what God has for me.
the gift was there, hanging right in front of my face. i could feel its shape, envision its color. i could taste it, like standing in a wind tunnel. all i had to do was reach out, grab that thing & run with it!
i am so happy, i can't stop smiling!!
