Jim had recently found him self with a lot of time to reflect.

The time he used to be able to spend at home once felt fleeting and rushed; cramming a week's worth of being a husband and father in the few short hours before bed. Feeling like a stranger as he watched the three of them work through their nightly routine that he normally didn't get to participate in.

But now, going back to his house just meant going to an empty building with nothing to take his mind off the complications of the day, so that he'd sit up late into the night going over case files and staff files and reports so that it nearly felt like he hadn't left the office at all, except of the change in scenery.

And the most troubling files on his desk were those on Harvey's latest 'attack' on Sofia Gigante's operation. Eleven dead and then Sofia herself and some of her main enforcers found with him (Jim knew who to thank for that little package deal). They hadn't been able to keep them in for long but it had been nice having them in interrogation before her new lawyers had shown up.

There had been a moment of déjà vu as he realized, in a twisted way, that the three of them had worked together again. And that moment was what had led him to be sitting in a visitation room in Arkham.

Mr. Dent, an old friend is here to visit.
