There's a kid suddenly running past her - what the fuck - and he almost bowls Livvie over as she's slowly making her way down the street past one of the public schools she's only been inside of once.

She's kind of out of it. Therapy and recital practice this afternoon and both of them are difficult for her right now.

Scowling, Livvie flips off the kid and there's a movement upwards in her peripheral vision that has her looking almost dead at Peter.

She blinks. The hell is she seeing?

"Don't fall!" Yes, that's...totally useful, Livvie, thank you.

He pauses on the rail of the fire-escape, balanced between it and the one above, looking down. The pause is just long enough to make it obvious he's faking when he wobbles, windmilling his arms and leaning out.

She laughs a little, looking up and shielding her eyes from the sun. It's kind of funny. It shouldn't be funny, something tells her, it's dangerous. Too many people in costumes in this town.

Still, it's funny.

"Go ninja, go."

His costume is kind of pathetic, blue jeans, blue hoodie, and red mask. He catches himself, leaning out at almost a forty-five degree angle.

"Oy, do I look like a ninja to you?"
