The GPD has barely had a moment to breathe since the breakout at Arkham. When Gordon had reached the asylum, the few units that were at the scene were completely overwhelmed. It had been too late.
Reports for all missing inmates have been circulating throughout MCU, and to the rest of Gotham's Finest as well. Every available officer, detective, leitenant and sergeant were given breifings on protocol for capturing and incarcerating all wanted escapees. Special measures were to be taken in the cases of three particular inmates, and Gordon prayed these men would be apprehended sooner than later. But he knew from experience that this was easier said than done. Jim's heart sank at the thought of the Joker and, hard as it was to admit, Harvey Dent loose in the city.
Arkham's warden was someone Gordon needed to speak to personally. However, there were slightly more pressing matters at hand.
The hospital where Dr. Harleen Quinzel is being held and, of course, treated is non-descript. Few others outside of the police know her exact location. Gordon and a handful of officers from Major Crimes make their way through the lobby and up the elevator to the floor where Ms. Quinzel is convalescing. What the GPD knows of the acutal escape at the asylum is minimal due to shoddy reports from incompetant guards and unstable inmates. Gordon can only hope that the good doctor is willing to answer any questions they might have for her.
