Well, Peter's brought him another gift, because he feels a little weird about coming empty-handed. Aaaand it's a notebook, one he thought Eddie might like.

"Hey." He tosses the wrapped package across the table in the visiting room gently, sitting down. "How are you today?"

Eddie tries to catch the package, misses on account of his wrists, but snaps it up off the table quickly enough. "Oh cool... haha, emails." He flips through the pad. "Not really much in the way of virus protection, though. Pff... Peter! I'm alive! How are you?"

"Yeah, sorry. Next time, I'll bring the Avast sheet protectors." He grins, scooting his seat in. "I'm good. Aced my AP-chem test."

He thinks about that statement more than he should. "Mmmno... Oh, hey, that's awesome. Did you go get pizza for it?"

"Yeah, Aunt May and I went to Bello's. Oh man, we saw our old building, too. It's so gone. They just haven't torn it down yet."

Eddie winces. "Do they have something planned for it, do you know?" Man, that's awkward. Sorry he made a crazy clown burn down your apartment, Peter. He fidgets a little with the notepad, and wishes he had a pencil. "Nice new building?"

Don't be awkward, Eddie! Peter isn't. "Probably. Someone bought it, but I don't know who yet. We're still looking for a townhouse."

He smiles. "I hope you guys find something in a good spot. Picking out a new place is pretty exciting. Eventually I'm going to have a sweet apartment. With a door that locks on the inside, and everything."

"And no glass walls anywhere?"

"Nah, a few." Pause, thinking. "Some concessions must be made to not falling out the window." He drums his fingers on the notepad.

Peter laughs. "And I'll come over for D&D."

"You'd better. You know..." Tap tap tap.

Peter waits for Eddie to finish that for a moment. "Yeah?"

"Those things, you know?" That is also awkward. What? Word?

Peter frowns faintly. Is this something obvious he should be understanding? "Sorry, you've lost me."

"In the apartment... one of those Surface things, for a gaming table. Did you see the demos for that? I want one so bad." He rolls his eyes, gaze ending up on the ceiling.
