A change of venue

It was time to move. Eddie was out of Arkham and, no doubt, working to hunt down his favorite doctor. The clever little bastard was bound to find the hideout sooner or later. The Joker would rather it be sooner and be able to plan, than have later be a surprise...so he stepped up the timetable himself.

However, this meant getting out of the amusement park now. He had most of the staff moved already. He also had everything 'ready' for Eddie's visit, or nearly there. He just had to get the 'reluctant' staff transported. They were the biggest hitch in the whole plan. It would be so much easier to leave Luke's body behind for Eddie, but, well, he was still more useful alive.

Harley was her own complication. She was bound to bring that Isley woman down on him, eventually, and he didn't look forward to that sort of annoyance either. Harley still wasn't the kind of loyal he could really trust, though it was better than it had been. He'd take her along. See what she does when the heat's on.

He's never told Harley who it is he has as his 'doctor'. It's been a guessing game for her. Luke, however, he told about Harley. IT wasn't a wise or well planned decision, but he just likes talking to Luke. Talking to Harley is more complicated and every subject is carefully steered around.
Today, the few remaining 'staff' on the grounds will come to bind each of the 'guests' around the wrists with tape and tell them they'll be moving today. They're taken to a work van and shuffled into the back. All of their 'things' they've been gifted with are transported with them. When the doors shut, it's just the two of them in the windowless back of the van and the Joker at the wheel.

"Try to...ah..remain seated. I don't have any seatbelts back there."
