Normally, Dib will spend his lunch break reading a homework assignment or debating mainlining caffeine into his veins. Today, he's come down to the maximum security hall way.

He promised to visit and he brought a orange juice. And he also timed it to be before evening medications, so everyone should be awake.

Simon will flag Dib down as he's leaving, tapping at the glass with the back of his hand. "Is it social hour?"

"It is, kinda. I'm on lunch." Dib will walk over to Simon's cell. He's not going to go in there, but he will walk up the glass and smile.

"At this hour of night?" It's not long before dinner, for him. Or, meal#3-to-be-ignored. "You're always here."

[agent_m0thman]

"Well, the meal that comes halfway though my shift. They call it lunch." Dib shuffles his feet. "I worked a lot of overtime over the summer. I'll be here less now."

Simon hasn't seen a window in ages, Dib. "... What month is it?"

[agent_m0thman]

Somewhere, Giles is making a sad face and he doesn't know why.

"Uhm.. September." More shuffling. Dib thinks they really need to set up some kind of outside time for inmates.

In inner-city Gotham? In the Narrows? Really?

"Oh... huh. Back to school, then. College, right?"

The roof? Of Arkham itself. There has to be roof access somewhere.

"Yeah, college." Dib doesn't like to think about the fact that is Simon were 'normal', he'd be going back to school too.

"Which one?" Once upon a time, Simon was even considering applying. But now, colleges are just full of people like Doctor House. Scary.

"Gotham U." Dib has found college seems to be full of people like Eddie. At least his major.

Then maybe it's better Simon will never get to go. He took a good bite out of Eddie. "Are you studying medicine, then?"

"What? No, computer sciences." Watch Dib boggle at the idea someone thinks he could be a doctor.

"Then... what are you doing here?"

[agent_m0thman]

It's good that Dib already had a breakdown about this subject, or he might end up in a cell himself. Instead, a pained look shifts across his face and he flinches a bit to hide it.

"I have no idea."

"It's easier on this side of the glass, I swear." His smile's a little stiff here.

"It might be..." Dib probably shouldn't admit that. At least not out loud, and not here.
