Bo Hopper's been a security guard here at Arkham for a little over a year, and decided it was well time enough to take a week off to go camping. He never made it out into the woods, but that's what his cell phone message said, out of touch and back in next week ( Read more... )

Harvey Dent turned himself in this time around, sure. But right now, sticking around Arkham (stay need to stay) isn't even the second thing on his mind. The place is a mess, though, and finding his way out is even trickier than usual. He thinks he's near the visiting rooms, now. So he's close. He'd better be.

Eddie has decided to knock from the inside of the visiting room, a nice, unpanicked 'shave and a haircut', and maybe a little morse code.

Knocking is all well and good and Eddie is welcome to it. Geoffrey will watch and fume and fidget with his phone. Arkham has never had great reception. This is more annoying now.

And lo and behold, someone taps back. Two bits!

His voice is muffled through the door, but the gleeful tone is hard to miss. "Who is it?"

"It's me! Do I want to come out there, or stay in here? That's the real question."

"I'm not so sure I do..."
Harvey was none to kind to Geoffrey the last time he got out of his cell. now he's less well armed to defend himself. Damn it all. He'll just be..behind Eddie.

"Flip for it," he advises cheerfully. "Who's in there with you?" He hears you moving...

"Aw, Harvey, you know I don't carry spare change around with me in here. Let us out, pretty please?"

Right, like he's going to say it's Geoffrey before the door's open.

Geoffrey will be very still and very quiet now. Perhaps Harvey will think he left?

He thumbs the button on the taser he grabbed off an unconscious guard. (A little worse-off than unconscious, now.) Smiles, big and half-bright. "Well, since you asked so nicely..."

Keycard -- also off the guard -- do your stuff. Welcome to the rest of the madhouse, kids. He pushes the door open, and his eyes fix on Geoffrey. Will you look at that?

"Warden." Still smiling. It's not a good smile. "Great to see you again."

Eddie makes no attempt to keep himself between Geoffrey and Harvey, but he's not stepping out of the way, either.

He smiles back, and it is a good smile, unafraid. The stuff in the air didn't get in here. "Thanks, man. He's here to visit me," he says. He'd like to say more, but House on the intercom interrupts. "Well!"

Geoffrey finger waves at Harvey.
"Nice to see you, too, Mr. Dent."
No it isn't. He does like being back in his asylum, though. Even during all this chaos.

Interesting announcement.... He wonders if he should try and group up with the rest of the staff. He wonders if weapons are still where he left them...

"Hmm." He looks up at the ceiling. That explains the smell. (Judah's warehouse) He feels suddenly dizzy and he shakes his head, trying to clear it. "I guess I know where not to go."

His attention goes back to the two of them. They aren't quite single-file, there's a bit of space where Eddie isn't blocking Warden from his view. He raises the taser and fires it at the former superintendent.

He is neither surprised at this nor under the impression that Harvey was aiming for him and missed. He does not believe he would be exempt from similar action, though. The details of this whole situation are rapidly falling into place.

"You jerk," he says, irritably. "I said he was here with me." Because tasering someone other than him is on par with minor offenses like cutting in line. "And we're happy to stay out of your way."

He won't say he -will- stay out of Harvey's way, but it's true, he'd be much happier if he didn't have to deal with him like this.

Please go away so he can deal with his tasered friend instead?

The two wired prongs hit him and there's less than a second to feel offended over it. Every muscle in Geoffrey's body tenses painfully and he falls to the ground. He curls up and spasms in bursts. Drooling is so undignified... At least he didn't have to pee.

Hee. Heeheehee. He laughs under his breath, watching Warden twitch in pain.

Then Eddie speaks up. "And?" There is absolutely no reason why that should impact his decision. He gives the taser a jerk, to loosen the prongs, and tosses it to Eddie without a second thought. "Have fun."

He walks away, continuing down the hall. He'll pick up another taser before he gets out.
