Jervis has been patient. He has been taking his medication, he has been behaving, and his stay in Arkham has been nicer than it began. He was moved from maximum security. Alex arrives, eventually, with a stack of papers and file folders. Hooray for paperwork. That is her absolute favorite part of this job. No, not really. "Mr. Tetch." And he gets a smile. "Are you ready?"

Oh. They sent the woman doctor. The...sometimes angry woman doctor. His smile fades a little, but he tries to continue looking positive. He sits up straighter in his seat and smiles so much more nervously.

"Oh, yes. Very much so. At least, I very much hope so..."
It's so much harder talking to women. This just isn't fair. There's an urge to have a tantrum about that, but he pushes it down and tells himself this is just an extra challenge placed before him.

Of course it is. It probably is exactly that. "Good." Smiling. "Everything all right? Are you nervous at all?" Oh she's being nice. That's...great.

And usually, it's a test of intellect. Those are so much easier. This is something a bit more trying.
