If you live near where I live, you know the thunderstorm that went by yesterday, well at some point the wind caused a tree to snap

and fall on my house

*yay*

now this made a crack in our roof, causing rain water to spill into our attic

good thing for buckets - but the water that got in before we put them their damaged the ceiling of our garage a bit.

also in our attic you can see three branches protruding from the ceiling

luckily they sort of doubled as a plug for the holes they caused, so there wasn't much leaking, except for one.

It's not that bad actually no one got hurt, nothing damaged other than the roof although in the room next to the garage water began leaking from the corner of the air vent, and gather around the edge

thats bad.

luckily we had friend/neighbor who is a handyman so he and our other neighbors got on our roof with a chainsaw, got the tree down - in pieces, and put up a tarp. We were worried because it's supposed to rain like that again today, but so far so good, clear skies. I don't think it will rain today but then again in Florida, there's no telling.

Our neighbors drank an entire six pack while walk around on a still wet roof, later covered in wet sawdust while operating a chain saw - smart ones they are. Though no one got hurt, at one point Brian slipped and all their wives who were standing around watching, also drinking gasped together, except Anne she remained calm with an "eh, easy come, easy go" expression, it was very amusing.

It was just a very crazy day. At one point Penny threw up too. Don't worry I don't have a picture of that.

I spent a lot of the day cleaning her puke up, and trying keep her off the rug, when I wasn't doing that I took to counting the number of times my mother said "Oh shit." I count 36 by the bye.
