today a lost puppy decided to make our thrift shop his home! and he made a lil kid cry. hopefully the poor lad isn't scarred for life. it took me a while to get the puppy to agree to leave the store, but eventually (and with the help of a cat leash we had in stock) i took him outside, and tied him to a shrub [seeing as my earlier attempts at simply leading outside, a few feet away from the door, only found him sitting waiting for an unaware customer to enter the store and let him back in]....anyway this whole tree-tying process was supposed to buy me time to call someone who could help find his owner. well, 5 minutes later he had escaped, the leash still tied to the shrub. i hope he's ok. he was kinda cute. [[that's my kinda man!]]
