Time on my hands.....
Well...it's rainy in Byron Bay today. Carolyn has food poisoning and spent most of last night in worship to the Porcelain (sp?) God. Met a cool Swedish girl yesterday and went around town with her. Currently considering next move. I hope to be in Sydney by Friday so that I don't need to rush all that much on Saturday/Sunday early am. Sunday will be a long day...Sydney to Auckland, Auckland to LA, LA to Albuquerque, Alb. to Baltimore. My ticket dilemma with Southwest is resolved, I think. When I managed to get someone on the phone they (SW) instructed me to show my police report at the ticket counter and they will either a) honor my rapid rewards comp ticket without the actual coupon or b)make me buy the ticket and then initiate refund procedures after I get home and the coupon expires. As long as I get home.
It's been a good trip so far. Hopefully I can make some things happen when I return. Starting to feel a little lonely, though. That's nothing new considering how I was before I left.
Alright...off to buy chicken broth for the sick Teapot and perhaps some good chocolate for my nearest and dearest (of which you all are).
