God I've had it. I am pissed beyond believes.
Anyone how knows me, knows that I am happily awaiting the 7th HP book tomorrow. Like most people, i do not like my books and movies to be spoiled. I really prefer to to dive into the stories w/o knowing how it will end (makes the guessing part a lot more fun too) and have a good time.
Well since the last 2 books, any HP fan who knows that staying off the Internet the week before the book release is about the best thing to do. For some reason, others get a kick out of spoilering this particularly series. Whatever...

So I have been off all communities and pages where I was in danger of reading something about it. Basically only facebook and my 2 trusted news sites remained. The German spiegel.de and the English Japanese News source japantoday.com.

Looks like even that is too much. I read about US bookstores selling the books already (sectum sempra to all of them - bitches. Now that means that all those new spoilers are probably real) on the German site but they did not mention anything about their contents - GOOD and much appreciated.
Japantoday on the other hand had a story of how JKR, the author, criticized these bookshops (or whoever) for their actions. I was interested in reading this and clicked the link. I read exactly 1 sentence and that one had already told me how many people will die. WTF?! I immediately stopped but I am incredibly cranky now (because that was new info). So apparently one cannot even read ~*news*~ anymore. Even if the article is about criticizing the spoilers.

Yeah I know, not the end of the world and there is much more important stuff in life. However, it's still rude. I bet most of those people also hate to be spoiled for books/ movies THEY are looking forward to.

I like to compare it to stealing candy from little kids. It is not the ultimate evil but still shows how much of douchbag you are.

Thanks *bows deeply*
