261209 - roadtrip
as exciting as the idea of roadtrip sounds,
i was honestly partially reluctant to go cos i know
how grouchy, cranky and bitchy my 2nd sis (aka the driver) can be. just like me. LOL!
(do note that majority of the pictures that will be shown would be scenery pictures!
so dont expect to see much of yours truly okay! hehe.. )
i love looking at these overhead cables that most of my shots have these in them!
they look so pretty but of course dangerous in an event of storm etc.
throughout the journey we only had one pit-stop.
we had ramly burger, epok-epok and prawn crackers. yummeh!
i of course only ate epok-epok cos i wanted to save lots of space for what's to come!
the most expensive toll was the one between Melaka and KL which is approximately RM47.
the rest range around RM2.50 to RM5.
i think we spent RM80 on toll from SG-KL.
thanx to the GPS on my iPhone, driving around KL was a breeze!
the check in time at Radius International Hotel was 2pm, since we were early,
we went on foot to Pavillion (my most favourite eating place in KL!) for brunch.
btw, the journey from SG to KL took us close to 4 hours.
we departed around 7am and reached at 11am.
Radius International Hotel charged us RM200 per night.
Pavillion is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. very near!
and the area is surrounded with lots of other shopping malls.
Brunch was at Tony Roma's.
They ran out of ribs so i had to settle for steak instead.
and be informed that the prices ranges from RM30 - RM50.
RM125 for 3 main course.
the portion of the servings was big enough to be shared (esp the pasta).
since it was raining, we checked into our rooms.
and since the itenary for the day was to only makan,
we all snuggled in our bed and took a long nap. LOL! (perangai budak gemok!)
went back to pavillion in the afternoon for dinner. =S
initially i wanted to have carls junior but i couldnt bother to find its location.
so we all had subway.
the kids each have 1 foot sandwitch!
after dinner, we walked around and called it a day. (:
morning was superb. (that was before i got cranky cos sis got up late!)
the sky was awesome. and everything looked perfect.
was so dumb to follow 2nd sis's instructions to change SGdollars at some money changer.
who in the world opens their shop at 8am?!
knowing that it would be a long car ride later on, i had these for breakfast! muahahaha!
guess where we're heading?
we're driving up to Genting Highlands.
it took us 1 hour to reach the peak.
the peak is covered with thick clouds.
i was damn excited at that time! lol!
and thanx to my GPS, we reached the destination without getting lost. <3
tips 101 : its better to get the express pass which costs approx RM66 for adults.
why? cos it will save you time from queueing up for the awesome rides!
no queues = more rides yah?

it started to rain heavily so we went back down to KL.
went to berjaya times square after that and had more subway.
then we called it a day.
our last day in KL.
and i was practically begging my sis to have carls junior before we leave.
LOL!!
