"One." Lynn said, as they appeared in a tiny, immaculate, apartment. "Do you remember what led to this? Where it changed?"
Janie stood quietly, thinking, wishing she wasn't being forced to relive the past.
"Gio."
"No, before then. Look out of the window. Yes, it's conveniently placed before you ask."
Outside, a younger Janie stood, catching her breath. How many years ago was that? She couldn't remember. It was back when she'd first run off, when she was at danger of being killed on a daily basis. "What changed there?"
"The city. Los Angeles and not New York, which is why you're mixed up. You were here and you met Xander."
"No. Ian. I met Ian and we lived so happily." Janie thought she knew her own history better than the little girl did.
"That was sealed away, Mommy, when you messed everything up." Lynn said, sadly "Me and you and Kelly and Dad and all of the rest of us lived there and we were really happy for a long time. That's where Alec, and Daddy and Dad and Miss Saxie and Grandpa and Grandma and you all tried to fight Ori and she almost killed you and Dad wasn't supposed to be here. It's when Dad and Daddy saved you. And then after you and Dad got married and you were happy until Dad died then you went crazy."
"Did you just give me a plot summary?"
"Yeah."

"Try not to use run on sentences."
"Okay. Cause after- sorry. After that happened, you joined The Agency and that's where you met Gio and that's when you started needing me. You always need me after him."
"Why would I need you after him? Why not after Ian, or after running away?"
"Cause Ian is a room but Gio is a whole outside wall. If you were a house. Xander is a room too but sometimes people might have more than one room but we're making it so you have four."

Lynn sighed "Sometimes people are always part of who you are, and Gio is one of them. Everyone else is important, but just a few people are kind of permanent. Me, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Ori, Gio. We're all going to be there, always. Even Alec. But after everything got split, you met Xander instead of Dad and -"

"FINE. You got real sad after Ian died, so you joined the military. There you kissed Phoenix, had a one night stand and didn't talk for centuries and instead you found GIo. Gio was abusive and a killer so you left him and met Phoenix again and found out that the two of you fucked the universe up. That's when I came back because that's the first time that things split. So when it split you met Xander instead of Ian and you disappeared so you could meet Gio after Phoenix saved you from your family. Then you disappeared there and met up with him later, and a lot of stuff happened."
"Um."
"Yeah, you're confusing. Okay, you're fixing things here. What do you want?"

"Never mind! Okay, so you met Xander right after you ran away, okay? And when you disappeared, Phoenix helped you escape your family the first time. The second was when you met Gio and when you had me. We were really poor and you had to get your money anyway that you could. That's when you finally got a job with Deadpool and everything got better for a long time. Then Xander died and you were stuck alone but you have me."
"That doesn't-"
"You were stuck getting Gio twice, but you don't need to remember that, kind of."

"All you're going to know is everything up to 2011. It'll make things easier."
