Of course I have to make a comment about today. Not because everyone else it doing it (that's not what makes it cool). Not becasue I want to share my sob story about the day (even though I could). I have to make a comment becasue even though I may not have anything new to say, I was affected and I cannot ignore that today.
6 years later and we are still looking at a pit. 6 years later and things are still closed. 6 years later and it still makes me cry. 6 years later and a trip accross the country pulled us into a war. 6 years later and I'm 6 years older and I would have forgotten the day if they hadn't mentioned it on the radio. 6 years later and I can't bring myself to cross the bridge to see the ruins, now construction. 6 years later and nothing is ever going to be the same.
