If every day was somewhat like yesterday I would be very very happy. Minus the getting up at 5:30 and getting back at midnight.
We (as in me and my mom) went to wait in line to get tickets for Shakespeare in the Park, the FREE Theater performances in Cental Park. It was so fun. It was way to early when we got there, but I got over that. By the time 1 pm rolled around I was sick of sitting, but we got tickets for Romeo and Juliet last night.
It was soo good! Romeo was hot. But I'm such a geek I didn't even notice how hot he was until the second act because I was too hypnotized by the stage and the acting, the music and the coreography. It was set up with the seats all around like you would expect for playslike Shakespeare, but the stage was a rotating circular... thing with water in the middle. I don't even know how to really describe it. One part I loved was when Juliet said, "swear not by the moon, the ever changeing moon." (I studied it in school... and I'm a geek) they both looked up at the moon since it was an open theater.
Oh, and you know how you always hear people with stories of how the got delivery to the side of the rode or a parking garage. We got lunch delivered to us by a bike messanger while we were in line.
romeo and juliet,
free love
