Okay, I've seen this show a couple times, but every time I see it I really fall in love with it again. I'm not really sure if it's the show or the characters that make it work for me. Wait, that didn't make any sense. The premice or the characters.
The tension between Pepper and Charlie is tottally HOT! They are tottally ment to be together, but she is so cluelessly and annyoningly not wanting to see it. I love her best friend Kimmy, she's just so funny.
Usually what makes a show for me is the characters, but for some reason I think with Pepper Dennis it's a little diferent. I love the story of it too. I would love to do what they do. She's a reporter in Chicago. Okay, that sentence needs to be split into two parts. She is a reporter. I loved the film Groundhog Day half because he was a reporter. I think it would be so cool to write about real issues and get paid for it. I love to write, part of the reason I got a LJ.
Second, In Chicago. I was born really near Chicago. I hardly ever get to visit there. I hardly know the city at all. I know most of the layout of New York. Heck, I was even paying attention enough while we were in Vegas to figure the layout of Vegas. Okay, givin that's pretty simple. But the only thing I can clearly remember from Chicago is Navy Peir. And the only parts of that are the big Ferris wheel, the children's museam, and some wierd clown guy on a unicycle. Yeah, I don't think he's there anymore either.
The episode or Pepper that I saw was Curtis Wilson is a Total Nut Job: Film at Eleven. I thought it was so funny. Pepper is compleatly clueless to the fact that the mayor elect is compleatly hot on her. I love Kathy's riff with the old receptionist Brianna. Kathy is also pretty clueless, but in a diferent way than Pepper. Kathy's little more pure of heart.
At the end near when Pepper was about to kiss Wilson I was yelling at the screen. Don't do it Pepper, you're in love with Charlie!!! It got worse when Charlie was about to walk in on them. I was histarical! I swear, he was going to ask her out. Waahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
