Just some Fandom thoughts. Maybe there'll be spoilers, I dunno.

1. The new Harry Potter Trailer. Despite the fact that a) I want to scream "GANDALF!" and "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" every time Dumbles is on the screen and b) I can't help but wonder if the Prince is actually going to be on it properly, you know, more than the one-speech-and-I'm-outta-here kinda of scene of the others movies, anyway, despite these things, I am excited about this movie. I mean, I really love this book and if this new director person made me like OotP, which I find boring as all hell, then I'm certainly not going to hate this. Hell, this trailer even made me go and read fanfiction, a thing that I hadn't done in a long while (since I read DH, actually. Now there's a movie that I'll be very surprised if I like).

2. So, the Next Doctor... Who is obviously NOT the next Doctor but an impostor and just a copy homage to the One Doctor. And that bugs me to no end, I mean, why not just call the thing the One Doctor and admit it is what it is? Why a misleading name?
... Of course, it's television... viewing figures... bah.

3. Now, about the real next Doctor, oooh, I'm soo excited *claps hand in a excited manner*. For the first time I'm witnessing the change of actors (and production team) and it feels goood. Yes, Tennant is my Doctor, I suppose. I mean, He was the one that got me hooked and the one, at this moment in time that, when someone says "Doctor", I think of, but I don't really feel that connected to him. Maybe, my Doctor is still to come. Anyway, yes, I like, love, Tennat, but it is time for a change, you know, theres so much you can do with emoness angst, and Donna healed him, in a way, so now, I can't wait to see the result of Ten's journey in Eleven's face.
So, who I want fo Eleven? Well, I might click Dylan Moran when he is on the polls for the giggles, but it doesn't really matter who the guy is, as long as it is someone with presence, someone who knows how to act, and is capable of making (or, rather, keeping) this character real, someone who can make the Doctor his, while being unmistakeably, the Doctor. And that doesn't mean, necessarily, being manic, gorgeous, crazy-haired or fond of overcoats.

4. I don't like Adrift. I suppose, as a Jack/Ianto fangirl, I should like it for the sex0rz, but I don't. Not only I prefer the Jack/Ianto scenes to be meaningful and reveal something about the characters and/or their relationship (considering that we barely have jack/Ianto scenes, so I'd rather make the best of them), but, also, they, Jack and Ianto, didn't even talk about Ianto siding with Gwen. Or, maybe they did, and I don't remember... oh, well, anyway, that's not really why I don't like it.
It's because, being the super sincere human being that I am (and not always being very nice about it...), not to mention, more curious than the most curious of cats, I just can't understand why is it better not to know.
Surely, that woman's life wasn't healthy with the obsessing. I mean, isn't it better to know and deal with it and move on? Well, as moving on as it is possible, really, but still, she can live now.
Hope might be a good thing sometimes, but when it reduces you to spending your days watching CCTV footage...

5. I don't even remember what prompted this, but I had a realisation. I don't care about Jack. Don't get me wrong, I love John Barrowman, but even he can't get me caring most of the times.
You see, Jack, the leader of Torchwood, struggling to do the right think but not wanting to be just like Torchwood One, and feeling guilty for turning his team's lifes upside down and Jack, Ianto's love interest, and will you stop ogling Gwen already!, these Jacks are interesting, but then again, interesting but because they are in relation to something/someone else. Jack, just Jack with his wee feelings and philosophies and fears, he just just doesn't interest to me.
Oh, I don't think I'm making sense, let's put it this way: Jack's fragment in Fragments, I liked it not because it showed Jack through out the years, but because it showed Torchwood's evolution. Or maybe, this way: you know when they, the powers that be, announce that another mystery in Jack's life is going to be revealed? Well, all I can think of is: "Another one? Can't they just show us Ianto's flat instead?".
.
Also, I don't know what to photograph to the letter B! Argh.

And, yes, there's grammar errors, but I'm hungry and I have to go and buy the food and, well, just deal with it.
