Some thoughts...

Matt and Trey were asked if they'd heard any from Seth McFarlane or anyone from Family Guy over the jokes at their expense in the episode, "Cartoon Wars." Matt replied, We haven't heard anything. I think they're just swimming around in their [tank]." Trey said, "I think he's a Scientologist, actually."
Regarding if Matt and Trey hold the same opinion of Family Guy as Cartman does, Trey commented, "What I can tell you that was pretty interesting, was the day after that episode aired, we got flowers from The Simpsons. We got calls from King of the Hill, saying we were doing God's work. It's not just our opinion."

That was from an interview with Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Over the course of the past year, really, I have gradually been liking Family Guy less and less. It's as if it suddenly dawned on me that most of what they were doing just isn't funny. Yes, they do have moments but it's never as fulfilling as South Park, The Simpsons or King Of The Hill (just to name a few) because the jokes are simply moments. There is absolutely no depth.

Now I know that's why a lot of people like Family Guy, and I genuinely did used to love it - I own most of the seasons for god's sake. It's a bit of an epiphany, really. I hope that's the right word...

To conclude: Family Guy = not funny.

Shit, my picture thing is Adam West...
