The hope of love and goodbye

The wind plays with my hair
Occasionally covering my eyes
Just standing here looking away
Holding back the tears I want to cry
The confusion seems overwhelming
As I sift through all that you said
Trying to decipher my own hearts words
While your image still resides in my head
What is it that confuses both of us
What is this thing that you fear
Am I that hard to figure out
Is that why you won't let me near
I know much about your own heart
Of How you have never really healed
Is this possability of love so frightening
The reason you don't want to say it's real
I've known you for many years
And I have always been by your side
Now that I'm leaving you for distant shores
Are you still going to try and hide
Perhaps you've let yourself be conquered
By your own fears of the past
Not knowing if what you feel might be true
Or if it will finally last
I can offer you no real evidence
No words to change your confused heart
I can only hope you will one day see
When the fog of doubt and despair finally parts
You'll know how to find me
When you want to tell me once and for all
But for now I will say goodbye
For I can hear the distant horizans call
I wrote this for someone...though I don't know if it has any meaning. I'll let that person decide once they want to. Other than that I have nothing else to say. Later Days!
