So I found the house that I want. It's on n. 28th st. off of Greenbush. Everything about it is great except the border at the top of the walls which has barns on it. Libby was holding back saying 'nice barns' to her the whole time. Its big enough. It has central air. The bedrooms will work out between the three of us and they have hardwood floors in them. The carpet is new. The appliances are new. No dishwasher but I plan on getting one to hook up to the sink. It has a garage, fenced in back yard. The back yard alone could have sold me, I think. Its big, has big shady trees, and toward the back it slopes up and plateaus. It is a little bit more expensive than what we've been looking at, but what we've been looking at hasn't been good enough.
I know that I can afford my 2/3 of the rent and half the utilities, but I'm just waiting on an ok from Libby. I think she can do it if she manages her money right. Not to mention she is only working part-time right now. She also is going to be interviewed by Purdue and I think she has a good chance at getting hired there. Her mom went to school there and worked there. She also has experience in the department she is applying for. But even if that doesn't work out, she isn't going to school yet so there's no reason she can't get another job, or work full-time somewhere.
They are also showing this house for another week. =/ They could decide to let someone else rent it. We basically sat down and interviewed with the woman, though, and she said she got a good vibe from us. There were people looking at it when we got there and they looked a little rough.
I have to decide soon. I'm getting a little bit nervous.
