Back Home for the Summer

You know those crazy old people with a ton of video tapes and cats?
Well, you're training to be one. Time to do some spring cleaning. Even if it isn't spring!
Are You a Pack Rat?
Sadly, I think it's true. I can attest to that because I just moved out of the quad yesterday and back home with the fam. It's nice coming back to a newly remodeled room (it looks more grown-uppy!). ...except now the bottom bunk is piled with stuff. And so is part of the living room and garage. It's so much work to weed through everything and decide what to get rid of, and where to put the things I want to keep! I really need to consolodate all this junk. That's what I get for living close to campus I guess! Silly moving-back-and-forth business. Hmm, I want to hang up those strings of paper lanterns over the bottom bunk...
Since Katie and I were the last to move out, we each ended up taking home half a kitchen's worth of pots, pans, plates and utinsels that had been left behind by our other roommates.
It was kind of depressing to say goodbye for the summer to everyone at MaHa. I wish I could be working there this summer...
But I'm really excited that a lot of my out-of-town/out-of-state/out-of-country friends will be sticking around! I should start planning some parties to have in the backyard with mom's new firepit. Mmm, s'mores!!
I got ten and a half hours of sleep last night! And I even took a short nap when I got back from church!
I should go work on something productive. But I felt I should update after such a long absence :-)
