[ Kai chuckles, glancing at Ren as he went to his bed. He looked at the jerky, nodding his head in thanks and started to eat it. ]

[Sitting quietly, Ren didn't have much else to say. It was enough to see him sitting up on his own and eating fine, so he knew Kai would heal in no time.]
