A few hours ago, someone from my world came here. His name is Brooklyn, and his frequency's giftofnature. Judging from his initial post, he's from when he almost destroyed my world. That said, unless if you like to deal with a mentally disturbed child, I'd recommend you to not approach him unless necessary. On top of that, if he approaches you? Let me handle ( Read more... )

I suppose that explains it. His childishness was almost irritating.

Yeah. He's someone who doesn't handle loss well.

In my first match with him, he defeated me. After I got stronger, I fought him again and defeated him. He didn't handle it so well.

Fast forward some time, and when he fought off against Kinomiya, he pulled my world into another dimension, causing buildings to become demolished, and the sky to turn a pitch black. It wasn't until Kinomiya, Rei, Max and myself combined our holy beasts into one big attack that he was defeated and all was well again.

In other words, a lesser form of boundary manipulation.

Would asking about these 'holy beasts' be going too far?

Pretty much.

Not at all. What do you need to know about them?

I'd assume the chip suppresses those abilities.

Any information would be nice, perhaps an explanation of their nature should come first.

His abilities, yes. I figure that the scientists take the holy beasts out of their chips when we're taken here so that they can roam free. It's how Suzaku can be out of her chip now.

[...] [ Watch him be a beyotaku. ]

It's said that the sacred beasts were sealed within these chips thousands of years ago by ancient tribes who used them as a method of defending themselves. There's thousands of holy beasts, but the most prominent ones are the ones that my teammates have -- Seiryuu, Suzaku, Byakko and Genbu. Seiryuu's wielded by Kinomiya Takao, Suzaku by myself, Byakko by Rei Kon, and Genbu by Max Mizuhara.

Any questions so far?

Interesting. I'm reminded of the old method for sealing youkai, albeit with servitude thrown into the binding. That hasn't been done for quite a while, if I recall correctly.

Moving on, what are the abilities of these beasts? And why are they referred to as 'sacred'?

I see.

Seiryuu has the power over wind, Suzaku has the power over fire, while Byakko has the power of lightning and Genbu has water. They're referred to as sacred because of them being the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations.

Ah, themes like that tend to be common. It's interesting to see it done in such an unusual way.

Mm.

Brooklyn's own holy beast is Zeus, who has one attack called King of Darkness. This is something that can obliterate both beyblade and beyblader.

The power to destroy, along with a reference to Greek mythology, how boring.
