Tohma knocked on the door to room 504, bearing a New Years present for Hiwatari. Sort of. It was more of a gift of satisfaction and his presence, but he did have something to give the teenager.

Kai turned his head to the door, moving to walk over to the door. When he opened it, he was dressed rather well, and out of his normal clothes for once.

Tohma smiled brightly at Hiwatari, fixed synthesizer hanging off his shoulder and the ever-present bowler hat perched atop his head.

"Happy New Years Eve to you, too, Hiwatari-san."

He held up the New Years gift he had brought Hiwatari--three New Years onigiri.

"Looks like your synthesizer's all fixed now." Kai commented as he invited Tohma in. He took the present from him, then looked at what was made.

A small smile threatened to come to Kai's face, but he simply showed his appreciation by giving Tohma a nod of thanks.

"Want to join me for New Years, Russian style?"
