What would there be without Friendship
Where hopes never faltered or lost

Bereft ships on the ocean we’d be tossed.

What would there be without Loyalty
Where trust develops and expands
What would there be without constancy
Peace would be out of our hands.

What would there be without Happiness
Where tears are wiped away by a smile
What would there be without laughter
Each breath would be more of a trial.

What would there be without Loving
Where painful memories are erased by a touch
What would there be without family
The steps up these mountains
would be rough.
