New Oxford Habadashery, Blue Boar St
The loss of King's Fabrics and other haberdashers in Oxford city centre has annoyed me for ages, so when visiting Thursday market today I was delighted to find the vintage & new haberdashery stallholder is opening a shop in Oxford shortly.
Darn It and Stitch
Supplier of buttons, trimmings and needlework paraphernalia is opening on Saturday 19th June (for the opening weekend, it'll also be open on Sunday.
Proprietor Jo Watkins (darnitandstitch@gmail.com) is looking for local spinners wishing to sell their yarn and hopes to eventually develop a programme of lessons e.g. on sewing machines.
