Speechless. No, not speechless, outraged and wanting to keep my voice.
I couldn't share the Facebook post of the person who alerted me to the Manchester rape trial outcome reported http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/8455161.stm and commented on http://pennyred.blogspot.com/2010/01/strike-one-for-patriarchy-manchester.html
Apparently, it is impossible to rape a woman with no 'morals', meaning fantasies extending beyond the vanilla-without-the-vanilla. Communicating a fantasy apparently equates with consent to having it forced upon you.
Unspeakable.
(Less germane, but noted there is a change, from 26th January 2009, to Pr0n law, the logic of which escapes me.)
