It's Friday...what happened!?
Well Friday's finally here and all I can say is "Where did the week go?". It seems like yesterday was only Wednesday, it's weird and I ahte weeks like this. My B-Day's in 2 weeks and I still can't decide between a laptop or a widescreen TV (it's a smaller one). Everyone thinks I should go with the laptop, but seeing movies in 16x9 widescreen is awesome. What to do...oh well I guess I'll figure it out I'll probably just end up buying movies.
So I worked with Steve last night, it was okay. He was in a better mood and Derek talked to him about the whole answering for me thing. He only did it twice, it still pisses me off but not as bad. It was really busy though, everyone wants that 50 Cent CD and aside from FYE we're the only store in the area selling it. I guess someone borke a streetdate so the record company just had everyone who had it put it out. Of course FYE and us are the only ones who get shipment two weeks ahead of time. Mega poop.
My Dad's in the hospital, his face is all swelled up. I wanted to go see him last night but my uncle said they wouldn't let us in so I was really pissed. I called him though, he's scared but he's okay. I feel really bad for my mom, she's so strong anf she's starting to crack. That scares me, my mom has always been the stable one in the house and now she's breaking down. I'm going to try to start helping her more than I have been, I need to get my ass moving or she's gonna drop.
My friend Mike came in with his girlfriend Teresa and his brother Chris (who rocks by the way). I talked to them for a bit when the 50 Cent rush calmed down, then once it picked up I had to get back to work. It sucked because that was the first nice conversation I've had with Mike in a long time. Oh well, there's always next time.
So towards the end of the night I got around to buying a few things, I got my check from 2 weeks ago in the mail and I got my taxes check back. I got a few CDs and a couple of movies, surprisingly all weren't horror! I got "A League of Their Own" which is like the best movie with Tom Hanks ever, "Forrest Gump" okay I'll admit it I love Tom Hanks he's the best actor out there, and "American Psycho" I was told I needed to see this by a few friends so when it came in used I scarfed it up. As far as CDs go I got Maroon 5 "Songs About Jane" (Import, 3 Bonus Tracks), Millenium 80's New Wave Party, Alter Bridge "One Day Remains", Bon Jovi's 1st CD, Slipknot "V3: The Subliminal Verses", Breaking Benjamin "Saturate" (finally), and um well that was all. Okay I'm done, TTFN.
