(no subject)
I still have a job, such as things stand with it. Got to work at 10, left at 10:30 to work more on the training discs. Completed one entirely, one left to go. And looks like I'll be off work another day to finish entirely. I'll be working for a few more hours still on the second disc. If I'm lucky, I'll get half of it done and have half of it to do tomorrow.
And if my luck holds, I'll still have a job.
No matter. I'm going to stop worrying about it. I can't keep making myself sick over stuff beyond my control. So, instead, I'll do what I gotta do.. and keep moving on.
... and.. call Walmart in the morning to check the status of my application.
Though, I do want to know a couple of other things.
Like.. what would it take to get away with giving a laxitive to the district manager?
and.. where did I save the email my mother sent me that had my resume in it?
and.. am I going to have the money to get my apartment and what I need for it, my divorce, and dental work done with my tax return?
and.. is Rob really going to start paying child support?
and... how the hell could he say that he, and Chris and Liz, didn't see any eggs, nits, or live bugs on Brenna's head? He saw -none-.
I found 8 live bugs, and over 30 eggs. Some of the bugs were too big to miss. Which means that training got put on hold while I treated her head.. again. It was time to, anyway.. that 10-14 day repeat you have to do. And today was day 10.. I knew there were a couple of eggs in her hair. And I picked any I found out.. but.. to come back with the number she did in 2 days? How could he not see?? How can they not be able to deal with the ones Jade has? *shakes her head*
And Brenna.. oh, man.. she shrieked. Shrieked, not screamed.. the whole time her head was being treated.. and worse when she was having the stuff rinsed out. Then that nitcomb.. tugging on her hair. Damn.
Her scalp is bright red, again.. raw. This is the last treatment. I need alternative methods to deal with lice.. or her head is going to have to get shaved again if this doesnt' do what it's supposed to do.
Now.. I'm going to remake the bed with fresh, clean sheets.. and get back to work on these damnable discs.
