The Wii Saga

Tom just phoned from the Sunshine Coast and said he was going to buy our Nintendo Wii today. I said something along the lines of "ARE YOU CRAZY, BOY?" Okay, not that elaborate.

I have $177 to last me a week and that's not being current with rent. I'm still two weeks behind, but because my house mates are awesomely rich, they've paid up until April something. Plus I WOULD be loaded would my boss be organised and head office competent. They have a "new girl" doing the pays and she screwed practically EVERYONE in the company around. Plus I hadn't even signed the damn paperwork (waiting for him to give me details about my pay, position, so I could finish it) before he sent it to head office where they said I hadn't done my superannuation form properly. Which I thought I had but at my last job I'd not done it properly either. GOSH, TELLS ME HOW?!

Tom has just enough money in his account to cover the Wii and wants to splurge on it. Just after I was complaining last night of not getting paid then not really having the guts to ask my mum for enough money for tomorrow night's charity dinner ($43 for both Tom and I to eat!) or Thursday's Jason Mraz ticket.

We've been wanting a Wii for over six months now and it's getting crazy. I don't think he'll last the week waiting until I get paid and we have the Easter weekend to buy it with our Christmas Wow Sight and Sound vouchers. Blech.

Desires - Money = Very sad Nikki. I'll spend my whole life whining about this and wanting to turn it around.
