Pickle jars and buttons
What do you do with gallon and half gallon pickle jars. I have no idea but somehow they appear to by mysteriously attractive. Well, I can't throw them out so they will live for a while longer. They are really too big to put my button collection, and I can't store food in them because they still smell like pickles no matter how much ammonia I soak them in. I am sure they have a purpose somewhere in the world, if only I knew where.
Now, if I could post to craftgrrl, the purpose of those pickle jars under my table might be revealed. Unfortunately I still have no idea how to get a post/entry to that site. I'll have to ask Gloryperv tomorrow when I see her.
Then there are all those buttons I have. I once saw some cute pictures made from buttons that were the bottom part of music notes, but I don't think I'd want those pictures up in my home. Maybe I should go to HGTV or DIY and see what they do with buttons and gallon jars.
