2011, su-ta-to!
It's the new year, f-list. 2010 was a 50/50 mix of suck and blow, so I'm just going to leave it at that and hope that this year is full of amazo!
I've never really made resolutions before, but one goal that I'll always keep in mind is to take better care of myself, in all aspects. I went to the farmer's market two weekends ago, and my fridge smells fresh and delicious (and my wallet is super happy, too!) I've been Wii fit-ing (and in pain) for 2 weeks, and take the dog for longer walks (making her very pleased as well). I've ditched the people in my life who were toxic and have spent more quality time with my neighbors and friends that really matter. I'm positive about how my art will take me to happy, good places, and my outlook is optimistic!

All right, so it's not all that easy, but I think an overall theme for 2011, for me, is to just be kind. Be kind to others and to myself. The rest has always just fallen into place.
As far as FANDOM GOALS go, here is what I have in store for 2011:
0) I will FINISH THIS DAMN GW FIC IF IT KILLS ME. It's pretty much written, but needs some fleshing out and then edits like cray cray. I'm actually super proud of this fic and it's some of the most intricate plot-heavy stuff I've ever done. One of my biggest goals of 2010 was to stop writing plot-less character driven stuff that was in my 'safe' territory, and to really make some solid plotmaps. SO FAR, THIS IS THE ONLY FIC I THINK I'VE REALLY SUCCEEDED IN DOING THIS FOR, LAWLZ. But, one is better than none, and I hope to have the last part of this fic out in the next month, all 2 of you who read it.
1) I have I think 7 or 8 fic to write for the Fic Request Meme. From last year. I know.
2) Then, I have some fic for the citrus_taste table I'm ready to fill out.
3) I've been talking about this multi-chap Kakasaku for like a billion years now, and I'm getting on it, I swear.
4) Also, I would like to venture into some different fandoms this year, which I hope to definitely do starting with these fic request meme fics!
5) I am trying to be a more active mod at kakasaku. Everybody has been super active and such the past few months, and it's been great to see all the new faces. I've never seen so much fic and fanart in my life over there. HOORAY. I hope to be a more active mod and not just show up to make tags for everybody.
