BCIT day three
So today was the third day.
Got up this moring same time as before, had a shower, then we set off. I was alot more tired today on the way there. Dozed off abit. When i got there i went and read my book again. Finally it was 8 so i set of to the Broadcast centre and talked to the Journalism students they were all hurt that i thought tv was more interesting, but we talked and i went to go find yet another office but i didnt have to cuz a lady from radio was waiting for us. I thought she was one of the instructors but she was a student there. I think her name was Angela. I'll just call her that.
So after waiting a while for Grace (she was late again) we walked to go to one of the radio students classes, first Angela had to get coffee and bought us some, it was better today. We sat in one of the classes about resumes and getting a job in radio. It was pretty interesting.
After we walked quite aways and were left with a first year radio student and his friends. We sat and ate and talked to them. Well, Grace did most of the talking i was so tired i just stared and ate and nodded with some imput once in a while.
After an hour it was off to another class. This one was on commercial scripts. My phone went off in the class. I felt so bad, but i thought it was off the damn thing turns itself on. I learned to put in on silent. I dont know what it was but that class made me want to fall asleep. Im getting more sleep tonight. But the reading of the scripts was interesting. I dont think the instructor liked me to much.
After the class we walked down the steep cement stairs but i tripped and thankfully held on to the banister and saved myself. It was actually pretty funny. Getting outside i was more awake and talked with Grae as we made our way back to the Broadcast centre.
There we went with two of the Producers and watched them make 30 second commercials for radio. And i read for one of them. Radios fun but im really not a fan of my own voice. I like the production side of it tho.
After an hour we went and sat in the studio as one of the students was on air with there radio station CFML. It was very interesting. Jessie im pretty sure her name was, was very nice. She let us go on air for a bit. It was some good times, lol.
Then we got a tiny little tour, and we were off.
Im tired, but im having fun. Its cool meeting different people everday. So many people to meet. But anyway im going to relax so hopefully i wont feel like falling sleep on my last day.
