Girl Talk

Custom-locked for girl talk, with a few trusted exceptions. ;)
Un-locked. Cause. Stuff. I was being silly. :P

So hey rocknlobster, it didn't take me as long to finish as I thought it would. XD

Meme: The Top 10 Fictional Characters I'd Nail.

Personally, I don't like the word "nail". But I guess by its use it's suggesting pure sex without emotional attachment or really, anything beyond skin-depp (skin-deep. wow. freudian slip, anyone?) attraction. Which, really, is tough for me to fathom. Usually my attraction to someone has quite a bit to do with the personality or character traits of said person. But I did my best.

You may notice Nick Stahl is nowhere on the list. Believe me, I considered including him, but given that my very first reaction to him was “WOW you are weird-lookin’”, I don’t think we could say it’s a shallow attraction by any means. It’s very much a respect thing, and if anything, respect should matter very little in this meme.

ALSO. There are two characters from Battlestar Galactica on here, and my little paragraphs about ‘em include spoilers for seasons 2.5 & 3. If you care about that kinda thing.

Enough talk.

Jerry Divine from 'Velvet Goldmine'
An excuse to get Eddie Izzard on the list? Mayyybe. *shifty eyes* You gotta problem with that? Still, aside from looking exactly like Mr. Izzard, Jerry's smooth and delightfully smarmy, and makes my bad-girl side wanna go be one of his floozies. Purr.

9))

Felix Gaeta from ‘Battlestar Galactica’
Like a lot of BSG fans of the female variety, I pretty much ignored Gaeta until New Caprica (though I found him kinda cool in that “I am a normal guy” kinda way). Then his character’s depth got multiplied about 7 times. And he started wearing a trenchcoat. And having that long hair. And being all Secret-Agent-Man. His particular attractiveness doesn’t necessarily fall under “hot” or “sexy” or even “cute”. It’s more beauty. He’s a beautiful man, inside and out.

8))

Gaius Baltar from ‘Battlestar Galactica’
Ok, this one could possibly be a little weird (if you know why, you know why), but I must face facts: James Callis is hot. Gaius has gone through a lot of stages in two and a half seasons, and whether he’s being a wearied and frazzled scientist, a drugged-out drunk of a president or the Cylons’ savior, he looks good doing it. He’s such a complex little bugger, too: completely without confidence and yet completely arrogant, always wanting to do the right thing and forever self-sabotaging. It just makes a gal want to.... figure him out. ;)

7))

Stephen Colbert
He counts as a fictional character, since his TV persona is so far removed from who he actually is. Besides, TV-Stephen would proclaim that he trancends the boundaries of fiction, truth and truthiness, and who would I be to argue?
Anyway. He may not be astoundingly handsome, but he has... presence. Loads and loads of presence and personality. Enough to make me and my roomies squee out loud every night we watch him.

6))

Desmond from ‘Lost’
Mr. Jesus-hair himself. It actually wasn’t until Season 3 started, and they showed us how well Henry Ian Cusick can clean up, that I went “Well DAMN, aren’t you just smex on legs!” And yes, I am a sucker for Scottish accents.

5))

Wash from ‘Firefly’
(For extra points, Wash and Saffron at the same time. Oh God, Zoe would kill us all, but it might just be worth it.)
He’s cute, funny, devoted, and talented at what he does--and if that scene in “Shindig” is any indication, he’s one helluva lover. That there all sums up to One Good Man in my book. Too bad he’s taken, but then again I happen to have my own man who hits all the points on that checklist ^__^

4))

Captain Jack Sparrow
Yes. Yes I would. And you would too. Don’t deny it.

3))

Jonathan Carnahan from ‘The Mummy’
There’s this very little part of me that’s forever asking, “What in the hell attracts you to guys like this?” But what can I say; I love a bumbler, and I always appreciate more the character who has to prove their competence rather than the “I-am-always-badass” man. And c’mon, he’s a sweetie-face (the accent doesn’t hurt either).
Although maybe I’m not ‘cheap floozie’ enough for him, I imagine he’d be a very fun fling.

2))

Shellie from ‘Sin City’
One of the few attractions I have that I can say is purely superficial. The drawling voice. The smile. The body. Those eyes. I melt.
Somewhere there’s an icon that says “Tricia Helfer made me bi.” I think I could make an icon of Brittany Murphy that says the same. XD

1))

Dr. Ian Malcolm from ‘Jurassic Park’
Dr. Malcolm and Shellie: my king and queen of skin-deep attraction. If they ever stood next to each other, I might faint.
Anyway. I actually don’t find Jeff Goldblum particularly attractive except for in ‘Jurassic Park’, where he has the attitude and the glasses. And that way of licking his lips... oooh. ^_______^

potc, eddie izzard, being superficial, lost, battlestar, quizzes/memes, firefly/serenity
