Haha. We seem to be in the same place on our BSG 2.5 viewings...
Yes, that action is completely and utterly out of character for Baltar. I'm still mad at the show for doing that. Couldn't Gina have (UM SPOILERS STOP READING) manipulated him into giving it to her, or stolen it, or something? It's never explained.
And, darn it, I liked Black Market. Maybe it's just in contrast to the crapfest that was Epiphanies.
Mrh. I guess my main beef with Black Market was it confused me. I spent most of the episode thinking the person in Lee's memories and the gal he was with were the same person. And the way it was written, it all seemed to come out of left field. And for that matter, where did all this Duala/Lee stuff come from all of a sudden? They've always been friends, but there never seemed to be any spark between them at all.
Yeah, I never quite got the Lee/Dualla thing. I guess they had to kill off (OH SHOOT SPOILERS SERIOUSLY I'M SORRY) ... kill off ... Billy because the actor had better things to be doing with his time, but they wanted to keep Dualla in the story, but couldn't find a way to do that without getting her involved with one of the main characters. And Lee needed to be with someone because he can't be with Kara...so they sort of stuck them together without putting too much thought into it
( ... )
.....then again, I woulda found out anyway in 2 days, since no way am I missing the season premiere, even if I don't finish season two by then. S'all good.
Oh God sorry about spoiling. If it's any consolation it's not much of a shock when it happens.
But um.
You need to really really quickly watch the rest of season 2, or else you will be entirely lost when the new season starts. At least watch the 110-minute last two episodes.
Yeah, there is that. Just in case, though, I downloaded this free thing iTunes was offering. It's a 40-minute recap of the entire show up until the last episode.
