Part of me was wondering when this was gonna cross your radar, heh. (I don't know anything about the book itself, but upon reading that it existed and was of significant readership, I figured, "well, HERE's an obvious text-to-reader match." Heh.)

Yeah. :D It's alright, but it's not really about pirates. The whole thing is just silliness, which is fine, but it's not....piratey.

I'd recommend George Fraser's The Pyrates first.

Okay, so when I saw it again, Tina Packer fell. AGAIN. Same spot, only not on top of someone this time, and this time the only adlibbing was, 'Gertrude?!' 'I'm alright!'
