A Family Is Closing Their Eyes

I felt it slightly necessary to comment on the wonderful field trip we all went on this Wednesday.  Antigone play at Salem State. Sounds innocent enough correct? It would really only take a bunch of idiots similar to many of the ones found in my grade to completely kill it.  Play wasn't half bad in my opinion, after reading the play which surprisingly I didn't completely hate it was pretty helpful hearing it and seeing it in person.  So that goes over relatively well for the most part until I'd say about half way through the performance when some guys though it was hilarious to start making fart noises. Normally out of this context I'd totally laugh.  You know me, with my maturity level of a 10 year old boy, usually that stuff's right up my alley. However when there's a teacher standing right there staring down your back don't you think you could find enough sense to... oh I don't know... stop and spare the rest of us from getting in trouble.  Yeah not a chance with the people in my grade and school.  Then later on when we go to get lunch in the school's cafeteria somehow people concocted the idea to steal food.  I know anyone who stole food probably had money so that's hardly an excuse.  Most people only do things that they're not supposed to because they think that they can get away with it. I hate to say it but I'm happy kids got caught.  I payed 3 bucks for my whole lunch.  The fact that they could not spare 3 dollars, somewhat behave, and just be open minded to the field trip is embarassing not only to the school but to themselves.  At some point people need to grow up and stop thinking they can do and say whatever they want.  I feel this rant has gone on too long now, and I feel like a jerk but the immaturity of kids in my grad really gets under my skin.  Things like this make me antisocial.
