1. Because it's against the rules
2. Because I already have blocks 3 and 4 off on day 1's
3. Because no one does it and I'll get a detention
4. Because my sister didn't do it
5. Because It would tarnish THEIR reputations
6. Because they couldn't bring themselves to call me out.
Reasons why that's dumb
1. No kidding. I'm willing to take that risk. You don't need to be involved. Not to mention they follow the rules selectively. They recorded chunks of my All-State concert when it was explicitely stated that no video was allowed due to copyright restrictions. So it's not only immoral, it's illegal.
2. THat's not the point. It's a tradition day.
3. Wrong, plenty of people do it and don't get in trouble. I'll be able to tell them that after tomorrow.
4. Who cares? She probably had something she needed to do that day, or was against it herself. By the way, Heather, If you read this (I know you know the location) this is one of those things that you shouldn't tell mom and dad. I know you and mom talk about things, but please don't tell them this.
5. What the fuck. A) No, it won't, and B) that just seems really selfish. Maybe I'm just dumb, but that reason pissed me off more than any other.
6. Like I said, they don't need to be involved. I'll take the risk myself, and if I get a detention, so what? OOOOOH, one detention over the course of 4 FUCKING YEARS at the school, as well as the two years prior to it in junior high.
And that's not the only reason why i'm not too happy. My mom said some other things today that really made me upset. I won't detail them here, but it was very angering. then, to top it all off, I have to get up early to give my dad a ride somewhere. I mean, that's not a problem, but when I just got yelled at for suggesting I be able to do senior skip day, it just feels like rubbing salt in a wound.
So, there's my bitchfest. Sorry i succumbed to the livejournal stereotype.
