Yeah, I havn't updated in a really long time, and yet I don't feel the need to update with a huge message.
There hasn't been ALL that much going on in my life since... whenever it was I last updated. That's mostly due to the whole working thing. Lots of hours. Ah well, I make enough money to get beat up for, so It'll help during the school year when I have more time (oddly enough).
Several parties during the fourth of July. 3 to be precise. Geek, bbq at my dad's friend's house, and one little hang out at my house. The one at my dad's friend's house was interesting. I'd never played barefoot soccer before. If I were a meateater, it would have been heaven. Evidently Brazillians are quite fond of barbequeing, so naturally there was mucho meat. There was a vegitarian thing, grilled eggplant, but it had a funny texture (which eggplant does) and thus there wasnt' much consumed. The party at my house was neat. It basically consisted of a lot of sitting around and talking, along with a few more adventureous things. Some guy in the neighborhood honked and made a "yeah!" noise when he saw us driving by on Nick's car. Yes, on the car, not in. So eventually that trip made it's way to Dani's, in bare feet. She wasn't home, but John marked his territory with his shirt. We returned home, talked some more, threw splody things, and debated whether or not we wanted to go to the fireworks. didn't end up doing so. Proceeded to give Ashely a ride in the trunk of my car, because she had this desire to ride in a trunk. Good fun.
Another week of work and such....................................................................................................................accidently deleted a thing on friday that I had been working on for at least a week... twice.... yay for accidental partial backups.
Friday (AKA yesterday) was awesome. Ashley and I were scheduled to hang out, and feeling adventureous proceeded to go to portland. Ate some burritos (had a hard time finding the place even though it was close to where I knew I was), and then wandered outside for the next few hours. We saw a guy sitting on a post near a statue, giving the peace sign to all of the cars and people passing by. He was wearing a camoflauge jacket and a neato hat. We went by, but then Ashley found some flowers and so we took one to him. It made me feel neat. he he. In one of the stores we went in she found the guy that played Brad (The guy in rockey horror, I hope I have the name right.) in last year's rockey horror that she saw. I was skeptical at first, but she asked him, and she was right. I wish I had that good of memory. Bought some incense and chopsticks, and Ashley bought some duckies that squeaked. So after finding the car (she has a way better sense of direction than I do) we proceeded home, but stopped in at the maine mall because she claimed she'd never been there. LIAR!! lol. she had, but she had forgotten. Pulled in, saw chuckee Cheeses, and immediately went inside for a brush with our younger selves. Went home after that. The whole ordeal was pretty damn fun, and I now feel semi-cultured because I could probably find my way around waterfront portland. WOOO!
I'm still sleepy because I don't sleep enough during the week.
Now i'm sitting here after doing homework. That's right, homework. Gotta love AP classes. My dad is chopping down trees. I think it's a mercy killing because they'll never grow due to the larger trees around... still doesn't make sense to me. However, this does open up the prospect for a biiiiiiig fire, and that makes me all giddy. I think i'll go shower because it's hot and i havn't showered yet... yucky, I know. That's all for now.
