I'm such a sucker for books!

I have a problem. I'm addicted to reading. I can spend tons of time off by myself getting lost in my books. I buy books faster than I can read them. I have stacks of them waiting to be read. Even though I have all these books, I never fail to buy another one when I go into any bookstore. Just today I had to get a gift certificate at Borders and did I walk out of there with just the gift certificate? Hell no! I bought myself a book and I bought a book for some children's program so that kids could know the joy of reading. If you've ever watched "Gilmore Girls", you know that Rory always carried a book with her just in case she got bored/had extra time and had a chance to read. That's me! In my fictional house that I'll never own because it's too expensive, I have a perfect library designed. I feel like if I had that, I'd never come out so I suppose it's a good thing that I'll never own it. ;)

Had dinner with friends on Friday and had a great time. It's always good to get together with that group of girls.

Today I saw "Legally Blonde The Musical". It was really cute. Some of the numbers were so funny!

"Degrassi Goes Hollywood" aired this weekend! I love Degrassi! I especially love the kids from several years ago (the earlier seasons) so I was very happy to have this movie because it was mainly about them. Craig and Ellie. Manny and Jay. Marco! (He needs a boyfriend next time.) Paige! Emma! So good to see them back. Found out afterwards that Jake Epstein is now in the traveling cast of "Spring Awakening" which I totally wanted to see anyway. Now I have an even bigger incentive!

Looks like I'm going to be keeping myself super busy with baking classes in September and October. I found this new place that only teaches baking classes and they're a pretty decent price. There are many that I want to take. Plus, there is a possibility of flying up to Napa to take a class at the Culinary Institute of America which would really be a dream come true. Even if angel_q ends up not going, I might fly up there anyway to go by myself. It's one of those once in a lifetime opportunities. I'm used to going to my cooking/baking classes by myself so while this one would be more intimidating, I think I would be fine.

Tony show next weekend along with a co-worker's party which should be very interesting. Then masheek2 and I are off to Boston. Lots of great things to look forward to!
