"So this is your niece?" one of Clark's co-workers asked as they looked at Addy. "Here parents must be rather...loose with the rules."
"Yea, they kinda are. Pretty much let her raise herself," Clark answered, they really had no idea.
"Gah, this is so booooring," Addy groaned.
"You've barely been here five minutes," Kon snapped.
"I swear it's the dog in me," Addy sighed. "Something tells me I wasn't trained really well..."
"So does this mean Clark's gonna need to set up some newspaper in the corne--Ow!" Kon winced as Addy flicked his ear.
"Watch it Mr. 'I wore cheesy red tea-shades cause I thought they were sweet'," Addy growled.
"Hey! I made them look sweet," Kon glared and rubbed his ear.
"Oh it didn't hurt that much ya big baby," Addy said. "You're a halfer, I'm only a quarter."
"Shhhh," Kon hissed.
Addalay rolled her eyes and flopped down in an empty desk chair. "I don't do well in offices..."
Kon could see that this was really bothering his...sister...cousin....experimental-hiccup-buddy? It must be hard...Addy was never locked up...she was always....kinda floating outside of any circle.
"Heya Kon," A young red haired man greeted.
"Oh hey Jimmy," Kon nodded.
"Ah Jimmy," Clark walked over. "I'd like you to meet, my niece. This is Addalay."
"Hey," Addy gave Jimmy a casual peace sign.
"So, what brings you here today, Kon normally comes with Clark as an after school work study program...how about you?" Jimmy asked.
Addy looked at him...and in a serious voice, "I stabbed a guy."
"Addalay!" Clark scolded, and Addy bust out laughing.
Jimmy wasn't sure what was going on...was she serious.'
"Jimmy...just so you know....about 90% of the stuff that comes out of Addy's mouth, is a complete lie," Kon told the slightly shaken photographer.
