Ever feel uncomfortable in your own body? In your own language? Apparently polyglots who are psychotic can be much more orderly in their thoughts if they use a language learned after puberty. They potentially do not hear voices, auditory hallucinations, have delusions, or are thought disordered if they use the language learned later in life. Yet another argument for bilingual programs in schools.
