Gypsies? Where???
I remember once my mother telling me that she hated gypsies. I remember thinking that it was a strange declaration because at the time I believed gypsies were some sort of mythological creatures like unicorns or something. Little did I know that not only do they exist, they exist in Chile.
First of all, they're very creepy and there doesn't seem to be any male gypsies....which is odd. They hang out in flocks with their peasant like skirts and crazy eyes. When they scope you out, they bee line it to you and try to touch you, which you have to avoid because that's when they try to snake your jewelery. They usually ask for money or at times I think they are trying to recruit. I usually have to make a huge semi-circle just to pass them, inches from their grasps....
But for some reason, I find them oddly fantasizing...
