[At least the heavy rainstorm lighten up, Gilbert wasn't looking forward to staying in his room when he could be out. Be it learning or practicing. He could only hope tomorrow is better. Almost passing by, he stops as he glances over.]

...? Are you okay?

[She looks up at him and offers him a small smile.]

I'm fine. You?

Ah, I'm alright.

[He smiles a little back, before looking around.]

..Waiting for someone?

[Shino shakes her head.]

Nope. Just watching everyone. It's the easiest way to tell when an experiment happens.

[He nods slowly, taking a moment to pause before Gilbert holds his hand out beside her.]

Do you mind if I sit here?

Not at all. [She scoots to the side a bit, making room for him.]

I'm Shino.

[He sits beside her, giving a more lighter smile.]

I'm Gilbert, it's nice to meet you. [Small pause.] Have you been here long? Luceti, I mean.

It's nice to meet you, Gilbert. [She pauses and looks up.] Two months... though a friend of mine has been here for years.

Years?

[He doesn't want to stay here that long, even if time never moves back in his world.]

I see, I've arrived not too long ago.

Ah... so you're a newbie. [Shino laughs a little and smiles at him.] Welcome to Luceti.

Or.. New Feather as most have been saying. [Might have blushed a little, being called newbie.] Thank you.

[Oh dear. Is this another person Shino can tease?] That's what their term is for new people here. Because of these. [ She leans forward slightly, spreading the small gray wings on her back.]

[He glances over to them, watching quietly as his own petite black wings give a slight restless rustle.]

I figured. I have yet to come to get use to them. Only a matter of time, I suppose.

It takes a little getting used to. I can only flap them.... I'm not sure they're meant for flying.

[He glances over to his own, which move slightly in a hesitate flutter.]

They're too small to carry our weight it seems. Maybe slightly. Who knows.

I imagine someone who has been here for a long time would know. [Then she shrugs slightly.] It's odd to see them. Almost as if we're all angels.
