Schrodinger's cat and season finales

Okay, folks, I don't know if there was some sort of TV writer's pact, or something, which was arrived at during the strike, but on 2 different networks last night, on 2 different shows, the concept of Schrodinger's cat was used.  Now, I had absolutely no clue this damn theory/experiment/whatever even existed before watching The Big Bang Theory last night, and then it shows up again 9 minutes into Bones.  WTF?  I feel I must be missing some inside thing somewhere.  But I digress from my purpose of discussing last night's TV.

Can I just hurt Ted on HIMYM?  I am kind of fed up with the whole Ted storyline on HIMYM and I don't think that Sarah Chalke is the mother because she does still have another show, and I don't care.  And didn't Ted learn from the last time that she doesn't like it when he talks to his friends too much about their relationship?  And didn't she learn that he talks to his friends too much?  But Barney ran across town for Ted, and luuurves Robin.  I think the squeeing from around the internet was actually audible.
 Now, Bones.

Okay, so I'm going to start with the beginning.  How exactly am I supposed to believe that Brennan would believe that Booth was dead?  I mean, they would have had to ban her from the hospital and then not allowed her to see the body, and I just don't see all that happening.  No.  Now, I haven't gone back to look yet, but was Parker at the funeral?  Cuz telling a kid that their dad isn't dead (cuz how could you not tell him the truth) but looking to them to do a convincing job graveside is a bit much.  I was fine with Brennan hitting Booth, but I kind of wanted her to yell at Sweets a bit more about his manipulative behavior.  He is lucky that she didn't tell Booth about his mean little ass.  Damn Sweets playing with people for more interesting data.  Bite me.  But Caroline's graveside comment that she doesn't like many people made me laugh.

Now, Zack.  Ugh.  I heard this rumor months ago and I kind of thought that because it was so old that it wasn't true.  But then it was.  I did think that ED and the woman playing Cam whose name I have forgotten did a good job with the reveal that it was Zack.  And Brennan convincing him that his conclusions were not right was kind of heart-breaking.  Forehead touches.  Aww.  The dentures were just gross, though.  Ewww.  And we didn't get to actually learn anything about the true bad guy.  I did think that essentially, what Caroline said was true -- Zack was a weak personality who was influenced and taken advantage of by a strong personality.  Sad.  In the new personnel arena, since Zack was once one of Brennan's students, does that mean that one of the students who was cataloging the bones in Limbo will be back next season, or will they bring back that guy they almost hired when Zack went to Iraq?  I did like that the season ended with a moment between Booth and Brennan.  That's as the show should be.

Oooo -- ETA -- Booth in the bathtub geeking out with his beer helmet and Green Lantern comic/graphic novel?  Still awesome.  I loved Brennan turning the music back on as she left and congratulating him on his lack of modesty which just caused him to get more uncomfortable.  Hee.

I still have several things that were on last night left to watch, not to mention the shows from last week.  And maybe even the week before.  I can't decide if I think the TV season coming to an end is a good thing or not.  Hmmmm.
