A Jillian story

There are times when your kids surprise you in funny ways.  And especially, when they have older brothers (or sisters).  This week at pre-school, the kids were talking about when they did over the Memorial Day holiday and one little boy was saying something about seeing zombies (don't ask, I have no idea where he saw zombies).  Jillian asked "Were they real zombies or pretend zombies?"  The boy didn't know.  Jillian asked "Were they eating brains?"  The boy said no and Jillian informed him, "Well, then they were just pretend zombies."

How does my 5 year old know the way to distinguish real from pretend zombies?  Apparently, from watching her older brother play Plants vs. Zombies.  I just kind of love the assumption that you could actually see real zombies out there.  Good thing Jillian could clear up that these weren't real ones, otherwise I might think the boy might have seen the zombie apocalypse and the rest of us missed it.
