I have been a person who has often feared change, but it's funny how much I enjoy randomness and anything spontaneous.
Change is a very natural thing that unarguably happens in life...for me, I am feeling a change of people in my life. I noticed that certain people are moving away from me...not physically, more metaphorically, and other people seem to be flowing towards me. I think this is all just part of life as an experience. I'm standing back from a situation that had taken up a lot of my time, and I just see it as part of what happens when the people flow changes. It all seems like it should be happening, or maybe would be anyways...I'll admit it has been difficult for me, and I'm sure it must have been on others too.
The change feels good though...I feel like the people I am investing time in, truely return that investment, and that's what needs to be there to maintain a friendship. And where others were not---a certain liberation has occured, and it has essentially freed up some energy to meet and connect with new people.
Ohhh Joy--Today, what a nice time! I went to Starla's house to have some coffee with her, and for starters, the coffee was amazing. I enjoyed it so much I had two cups. Also, her baby girl, Taylor, and little boy Carter are such a joy. Both such beautiful children, but I found myself paticularily charmed by Carter...so lively, and fun...and such a cutie pie. I miss being around children...I offered to babysit for free. I love talking to children and interacting...I love to make them smile or feel special...Children are the backbone of the world...They are such a source of pure love and they deserve to be protected and loved right back. I realize it's very important that I have children in my life down the road--preferrably my own. It was really nice to catch up with Star too--it's been such a long time, and I love her outgoing and humorous personality...she's always ready to have some down to earth fun, and enjoy life in the moment.
Tonight, Kim and I went to meet up with Bettina and Remo at a house party. We arrived there first, after being assured we could go---to find out there was $10.00 cover. I turned to Kim and I'm like, I didn't know, let's bounce. And then she says to the girl...I didn't bring my purse, and we didn't know there was cover. Then another girl comes over and she's like...Ok, so we didn't end up having to pay cover. We made some new friends, enjoyed Redfish lived in a garage. I bumped into a few people I knew, and ended up on stamp duty for about 10 minutes. I even collected $30 in cover! :D The party was pretty big...I'd think there were about 70? people there or so...it was cool though...Live band in the garage, Keg...all for ten dolla. Not bad. So that was my day.
Tomorrow I get to go and see Lindy, her mom(Hazle...aka. Hazie) and her baby girl Sekoya! I'm excited.
OHhhh. I got my hair done, it looks good. It's kinda dry, and the ends feel a little overly processed, but overall, I like it.
I have such a headache now. Bedtime!
:D
